LIM-On Trio is an encounter of guitar, accordion, and saxophone, bringing together French chanson, Brazilian melodies, and the intonations of Yiddish songs. The genres shift naturally between one another, creating a sense of warm nostalgia—something familiar yet forgotten, rediscovered anew. This is a trio of three virtuoso musicians, each of whom brings a personal musical language and also works as a composer.

Marcelo Nami is a guitarist, composer, and producer, born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, with deep roots in Brazilian music and formal studies at the Rio Conservatory. His playing blends Brazilian rhythm, jazz freedom, and deep groove. Nami has collaborated with well-known Israeli musicians, including Yoni Rechter, Shem Tov Levy, Shlomo Yedov, and others.

Ilya Magalnyk is an accordionist, composer, and arranger, born in Moldova, who has become an active and sought-after figure in the local music scene. His playing combines classical music, jazz, and ethnic motifs. He also works as a composer and arranger for theater and cinema, alongside collaborations with many artists in Israel and abroad.

Lenny Sendersky is a saxophonist and composer born in St-Petersburg (Russia) who spent a period working in Denmark, from where he expanded his international activity, and later established himself in the Israeli jazz scene. His work moves along the line between jazz and a more contemporary musical language. He has led and produced projects with international artists, including Randy Brecker and Joe Locke.

In performance, the trio presents personal arrangements of well-known standards from French chanson and Brazilian music, including:

La vie en rose, La Foule, Black Orpheus (Manhã de Carnaval), Noites Cariocas, Chorinho pra Ele, Indifference, and additional pieces—performed beautifully with a blend of cultures, rich improvisation, and emotion.
